Information Lumina Motion Does Not Collect
Lumina Motion version 1.0 does not operate user accounts, advertising, analytics, cloud storage or remote video processing. The application does not transmit your videos, saved scenes, video filenames, file paths, display arrangement or playback diagnostics to Lumina Logic LLC.
Local Files and Settings
You choose the video files Lumina Motion may open. The app uses macOS user-selected file access and security-scoped bookmarks so saved scenes can reopen files you previously selected. Scene settings, bookmarks, preferences and screen-saver video selection remain on your Mac.
Lumina Motion does not modify or delete a source video when you edit or delete a scene. You control the original files through Finder and the storage locations you choose.
Screen Saver
The optional Lumina Motion screen saver is installed only after you choose to begin installation and approve the request presented by macOS. A screen-saver video is selected separately through Options in System Settings. That selection is stored locally.
Diagnostics and Support
Lumina Motion can prepare technical information to help diagnose playback. Built-in diagnostics stay on your Mac unless you deliberately copy and send them to Lumina Logic. The diagnostic summary is designed to omit video file names and file paths. If you contact support, Lumina Logic receives only the information you choose to provide in that communication.
Apple and macOS
Distribution, installation and operation may involve Apple services and macOS system components governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy practices. Lumina Logic does not control information Apple processes independently through those services.
Children’s Privacy
Lumina Motion does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users because version 1.0 does not collect personal information through the application.
Data Retention and Your Choices
Because Lumina Motion’s application data remains local, you control it on your Mac. You may delete saved scenes inside the app, remove the optional screen saver through macOS, or delete Lumina Motion and its local application data using standard macOS tools. Removing the application does not delete source videos stored elsewhere.
Changes to This Policy
If a future Lumina Motion version adds accounts, analytics, cloud processing, third-party services or other data practices, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before those practices apply. The effective date above identifies the current version of this policy.
